فاصوليا بالزيت
Fasolieh bil zait is a traditional Middle Eastern appetizer that makes use of one of summer’s favourite vegetables. Green beans (or string beans) are simmered in an aromatic medley of olive oil, tomatoes, caramelized onions and garlic. All the flavour comes from those ingredients, so you really only need to season with salt.
This dish is eaten with pita bread and can be served as an appetizer or a side dish.

How to store fasolieh
Fasolieh can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days. I wouldn't recommend freezing this dish as the texture of the vegetables will become too soggy.
